With healthcare costs rising at astronomical rates, it is stupid contests like this that encourage hospital corporations, both for profit and nonprofit, to continue building costly structures. We should value quality of care only. Who cares about aesthetics when we are in a national healthcare crisis. The person who thought this contest up should use thier energy for loftier causes.

I would agree that top hospital #17 is definitely beautiful-Woodwinds Health Campus. I did volunteer work inside that hospital for a short time in the Heart and Lung Center. They have really great benefits for the employee’s and volunteers. But i think there should be a Top 50 and maybe add The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. That place is absolutely gorgeous! I also think St. Joseph’s Hospital in Downtown St. Paul, MN is getting more beautiful, but is getting work done inside it.

I work for the number 3 pick Metro Health. I love coming to work everyday because of it’s beauty inside and out. This hospital is like no other in the world!
